Course description
Let's play the fiddle! Designed for beginning and early intermediate players, this course will teach you absolutely everything in AltStrings Fiddle Method for Violin, Book 1.
This course is perfect for both fiddlers and violinists. It can be used with the AltStrings Fiddle Method for Violin books if you want to learn a whole lot about fiddle, with or without a teacher! As a supplement, the course is appropriate for violinists up to the level of Suzuki Book 2 or equivalent.
This course will take you all the way from "I've never played before" to "I can jam with my friends!"

Have fun!

In demand as both a teacher and performer, Caroline spends her weekdays teaching Suzuki violin and orchestra in a Colorado public school, and private violin, viola and cello lessons at her home studio. Her weekends find her performing with Cheza String Quartet. She also runs City Strings, a program of the nonprofit Augustana Arts, which brings instruments and lessons to underprivileged youth in the Denver metro area.
Caroline grew up playing the fiddle with the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers, and has been involved teaching or assisting at Fiddlekids Day Camp for over a decade. She also teaches cello and musical saw at Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp.
